NG2010: Accomodation
Recommended hotels
For participants’ reference we provide a list of recommended hotels
(map presented below). These hotels have rooms reserved for the
conference until the 25th of April.
Rooms might be available at the same rates also after this date, but
since there will be another large event taking place at the same time
in Ljubljana ,we encourage participants to book their rooms as soon as
possible.
Rooms will be booked on "first come – first serve" basis. If you would
like to book a room, please send an e-mail to the hotel directly (it
is important that you mention the reference code – NorduGrid 2010)
including arrival and departire dates and credit card number to
guarantee the booking.
If you have difficulties booking a suitable hotel or you have special
requirements, please contact the local organiser and we will assist you as
needed.

A boutique hotel located in the heart of the Old Town centre of
Ljubljana in a historic building (a protected monument) with unique
rooms/suites/appartments giving views over the romantic Gornji Trg
square or the historic Ljubljana Castle.
Note: Located in the pedestrian area with no elevator and direct
car access: check the floor level of the room you are booking.
All prices are per room per night and include breakfast.
Transportation
From Ljubljana airport to the city centre you can take a
taxi
(approx. 35 € per car),
shuttle (9 € per
person) or a bus
(4 € per person).
To book a shuttle from the Airport to the hotel and back please ask
when booking a room in one of the hotels.

The city offers accommodation facilities of all categories and types
(from five stars hotel to student hostels). Most hotels are located in
the city centre and are within 10-20 minute walk from the conference
venue.
